process
The process for each cover and advertisement is so different that it would be hard to explain here, but in general I would get an assignment and create something for it. I'd then send it to the design team for feedback, and we would work back and forth until the cover was done or the ad was ready to send to the marketing team. Occasionally after that there might be one or two more rounds of revisions.
reflections
I've been loving my time so far with Mac Audio. It's been a joy getting to work on so many different styles and genres of covers, and to be able to bring books to a wider audience. I've also gotten to work firsthand with a lot of hardcover and paperback files, and have learned a lot about what is helpful and not helpful in Photoshop and InDesign file organization.
